Manning on my Mind

Ok - as a Colts fan - I see it as my duty to let everyone know to watch out for Peyton Manning. He is heating up.

As with any good competitor - you play best when your back is against the wall. The tide is turning and the timing is coming along. They looked pretty good against Houston on Sunday - now I hear you - every team is not Houston. I know - and wait - let me say it for you - the Colts receivers dropped 6 passes in the first half.

I know all of this - they still won. They are still 6-4 headed into San Diego. Now - I know that the Colts wont look past the Chargers for fear of the past. I DO know however that Manning loves nothing more than to prove someone wrong. The Chargers are awful against the pass and I smell revenge for Manning.

One final thought...

No interceptions by Manning - 4 touchdown passes instead.

5 Thoughts...

5 thoughts from the NFL this week...

1. McNabb needs to learn the rules.
2. The Colts Defense needs to play better - not every team is the Texans.
3. Jacksonville will be watching the playoffs from the comfort of their own home.
4. The "Boys" are glad Romo is back and you can tell it in their play. Breath Wade Phillips - you won.
5. The Giants will be in the Super Bowl. What is the Ravens rank against the run again?

One final thought...

The Titans are that good.

Quiet so far...

Ok - so far - so good. I have managed to go the entire college and professional football season with my mouth shut. THAT is a huge accomplishment.

However, the closer we near the end - the more erratic and sometimes irrational my thoughts get.

Cant wait for some good games this weekend in college as the bowl picture begins to take shape. Some one loss teams on my upset alert!

NFL season is finally swinging my way - the gods smiled on my Colts this weekend - in Pittsburgh. I thought it would be a tight one and well - it was.

One final thought:

Marvin Harrison needs to catch the ball or sit on the end of the bench.

Sept. 4 cant come soon enough

So - not too long now until kickoff - Sept 4. I can wait that long. Maybe.

Manning and Manning the first weekend. Could I ask for anymore? Wait - I can - a Manning vs. Manning Super Bowl. That would work.
